Security and privacy at CopyDNA

Here is a short summary of how we protect your information. The binding text is the Privacy Policy.

How your data is protected

• All communication with the site is encrypted (HTTPS).
• Passwords are stored only as a hash (scrypt), never as plain text.
• Connection keys of connected sites are stored as a hash, and stop working immediately when the site is disconnected.
• Access keys to providers are kept on the server only.
• Access to data is limited to those who need it.

Your texts are yours

• We don't read your texts or your questionnaire answers. There is one case: a support request about a specific text. Then only that text is opened, only to handle the request, and every such opening is logged.
• We don't use your content to train AI models, and we don't sell personal information.
• The free persuasion checker needs no account, and the text and link pasted into it are not stored.

Payments

Payment goes through Paddle, the official Merchant of Record. Your card details never reach us.

Who processes the data

Deletion and your rights

You can delete your account. Data is deleted within 30 days, and backups within 90 days. You can also ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or a restriction of processing. We answer within 30 days at the latest.

What we don't have

We currently don't hold a security certification such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2, and we don't claim otherwise. We follow accepted practice, and we will report a security incident as the law requires.
